| Research Interests |
The domain of specialization is Biotechnology and the fields of Bioprocessing (emphasis on Affinity Interactions), de novo Design of artificial receptors, Combinatorial Chemistry and Nanobiotechnology.
Current research projects focus on: - Affinity interactions between natural partners and between biomolecules and artificial receptors. Study of molecular interactions for the development of biomimetic ligands to purify and detect biomolecules with potential biotechnological interest. - Synthesis of solid-phase combinatorial libraries in miniaturised formats. - Biosensors; Detection of molecular interactions and selection of binding partners. |
