Paula Nabais, PhD student at LAQV-REQUIMTE, FCT-NOVA, was awarded with Estímulo à Investigação 2016 prize with the project “The Medieval Iluminations, the Codice and its Conservation: Challenges to the Molecular Sciences, Humanities and Society”. Paula Nabais, PhD student of the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage (CORES) doctoral programme, is working with Maria João Melo, Associate Professor at Department of Conservation and Restoration, FCT-NOVA.
“Estímulo à Investigação” program aims to stimulate creativity and quality in scientific research. Every year applications with research projects are distinguished based on high creativity potential in scientific areas in the scope of the basic courses: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Earth and Space Science. In the Chemistry area, this year has been specifically dedicated to Chemistry and Art.
