Marcela Segundo from UCIBIO at Faculdade de Farmácia - Universidade do Porto (FF-UPorto), received the FIA Award for Science, granted by the Japanese Association for Flow Injection Analysis. The attribution of medal and merit diploma took place at October 6th in Mallorca, Spain, during the 20th ICFIA - International Conference on Flow Injection Analysis and Related Techniques. This award aims to celebrate the efforts and research excellence at international level concerning the development and application of flow injection analysis.
Marcela Segundo, Professor at FF-UPorto, was distinguished for her contribution to the development of flow-based systems for automatic sample treatment and for antioxidant assessment.
