Research Interests
(a) synthesis of new multifunctional ligands and characterization of their transition metal ion complexes in order to evaluate their chemo-sensing properties, (b) synthesis of porphyrins and their analogues with potential therapeutic applications, (c) development of new simple and efficient strategies to synthesize organic compounds and (d) introduction of advanced heating methodologies for chemical synthesis, including high-speed microwave-assisted organic chemistry and ohmic heating.
