Research Interests
Current research activity is focused on the application of high throughput methodologies as FTIR spectroscopy and MALDI-TOF MS/MS coupled with chemometric tools in bacterial discrimination and identification. Antimicrobial resistance mechanisms, epidemiology and evolution of bacterial resistance to antibiotics are related interest topics.
