- Mimetic models of the cell membrane (liposomes, micelles, supported lipid bilayers, monolayers);

- Interaction of drugs with the membrane: location, partition on membrane-aqueous interfaces, structural and biophysical modifications;

- X-ray scattering (SAXS, WAXS and GIXD);

- Morphological characterization of nanostructures using SEM, TEM and AFM;

- Fluorescence techniques: Steady-state and time-resolved quenching, anisotropy;

- Langmuir isotherms, simple or conjugated with Infrared reflection-absorbance spectroscopy;

- Dynamic ligth scattering and zeta potencial;

- Surface functionalization of nanostructures;

- Silica nanotubes, liposomes and lipid nanoparticles as drug delivery systems;

- Drug loading, targeting and release studies.
