Research Interests
My main interests are: i) the understanding of the mechanisms that underpin the dynamic uterine-embryo interactions during successful and complicated pregnancy, as well as the role of the lipid modulators (endo)cannabinoids and their metabolites in fetoplacental development; ii) the search for a potent aromatase inhibitor for the treatment of hormone-dependent breast cancer as well as the elucidation of the underlying mechanisms associated to endocrine resistance
