  • Biomarker discovery using GC-MS and NMR based metabolomics for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment improvement;
  • Development of new non-invasive diagnostic tools for cancer detection, based on the profile of urinary volatile compounds;
  • Application of GC-MS and NMR spectroscopy for chemical characterization of cork;
  • Determine the impact of volatile organic compounds from cork in chemical, sensory and biological properties of wines.
